The children seemed happy, content and keen to pursue their studies. The teachers were very enthusiastic about the program and the dedication of the students. The academic results of the children are very high.

Choon Ky and Lino explored the possibility of constructing a new dormitory for another 80 children with the directors and the representative of our partner, the Ghe Peh Ling Institute.

We were hoping to draft a project plan and budget for the construction of the dormitory but this has been delayed because of political unrest in the region. We hope to pursue this next phase of the project in 2008 once the political situation has stabilized.
